Thoughts

I have only just come across this memorial - and read it with great sadness. Dr. Novak was always so very kind to me and especially my elderly and ailing parents who were his patients at Callowland Surgery. I have thought of him often in the intervening years since moving away from Watford and am deeply saddened that his life has ended far far too early. My deepest sympathy to his family

Sadly only just seen this very tragic news Tom was such a wonderful GP we shared many memories will always be very much part of my life. I was a Nursing Director at the hospice in 2005 and send my kindest regards to all involved in the care . Tom Novak was a kind and thoughtful man so sadly missed by many especially his very much loved family. Thank you Tom for all you gave to me not just as a patient but as a friend who valued you greatly. Love Jenny xxx

I have known Tom for thirty years, as my family GP, a colleague and through our kids attending the same school. Nadiya and Natalie were in the same class at Cassiobury Primary School and both went on to Watford Girl's Grammar School. We met not only at his surgery when a member of my family was ill but also at the kids parties and parents' evenings where we would have long 'chats' about the state of the NHS. Tom was an exceptionally nice and kind person. As a GP he always had time for you, never rushing to get you out of his surgery within your time slot. Words cannot express how good he was to our family. He is sadly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Suzie, Marianne and Natalie. Tom 'You're probably looking down from heaven above, sending out smiles with days of sunshine and showers of love' Rest in peace, you are gone but never forgotten Janice Omar and family
